John joined Boal and Co in 2016 bringing more than 25 years of offshore and international pensions experience and has been involved in the Isle of Man’s pension industry for over 15 years.
John is a key member of the personal pensions department which offers bespoke SIPP, SSAS and master-trust pension products to the domestic (Isle of Man) market as well as pension solutions for individuals internationally.
A renowned industry expert, John has been involved in pensions for over 30 years and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences both locally and internationally as well as writing articles for international publications. He has worked offshore for the last 25 years.
Prior to joining Boal & Co, John was a Director of a Malta and an Isle of Man pensions company. John has worked in Europe, the Middle East and the Far East, and is knowledgeable in the various jurisdictional regulatory regimes.
John is AFPC qualified and has attained the PMI Award in Pension Trusteeship.

John is married with three children and spends his spare time reading, playing golf and watching live sport. He is a regular traveller and occasionally helps at the children’s nursery which he owns with his wife.
