Karen joined Boal & Co in 2010, bringing extensive corporate pensions experience from previous roles with a leading international bank.

With more than 25 years’ experience in the pensions industry, Karen has been instrumental in the growth and success of Boal & Co. Her expertise helps ensure customers, their schemes and members receive excellent governance, support and service. She oversees the firm's international corporate pensions portfolio, managing trustee and administration services for a wide-ranging customer base that includes more than 45 Financial Times ‘Global 500’ employers. Karen also plays a key relationship management role for many of Boal & Co's occupational customers and business partners.

As Group Director, Karen is responsible for overseeing business and customer operations, implementing strategy, monitoring financial performance, developing policies and processes, and providing oversight of the Group's marketing function.

Karen was appointed to the Board of Boal & Co (Pensions) Ltd in 2013, Boal & Co Pensions (Jersey) Limited in 2020, Boal & Co Limited in 2022 and Boal & Co Holdings Limited in July 2025. She served as General Manager from 2021 to 2024 before being appointed Group Director in 2025.

In their spare time:

Karen enjoys family ski and summer holidays with her husband, daughter and son, and maintains an active lifestyle through running and regular gym workouts. Originally from Scotland, she has lived on the Isle of Man since 1990.
