On 25 June, we welcomed 14 teams to our annual charity quiz night in support of Wish Upon a Dream Isle of Man and Remember Me Isle of Man. Now in its fourth year, the event has become a firm fixture in our fundraising calendar and, despite taking place on the hottest day of the year, another fantastic evening was enjoyed by all.
The night was filled with plenty of friendly competition, laughs and lively quiz rounds, expertly hosted by our Quiz Master, Caitlin Callister. After an early lead from MAC Group, it was Pumpers and Dumpers from Ramsey Crookall who claimed the title of Quiz Champions, finishing ahead of We Promise We Aren't Nuts and MAC Group in a closely contested final leaderboard.
We're delighted that the event raised £2,362, which will be split between the two charities. We'd like to thank everyone who took part, the many local businesses that generously donated raffle prizes, The Pavilion at Douglas Golf Club for hosting the event, and DotPerformance for capturing the evening. Their support helped make the night such a success, and we're already looking forward to making next year's quiz even bigger and better.
