Boal & Co Gets Stuck In at Tough Mucka 2026

The Boal & Co team was delighted to support Isle Listen's Tough Mucka 2026 as the proud sponsor of one of the event's most popular obstacles, the Slip 'n' Slide.

Held annually to raise vital funds and awareness for Isle Listen's mental health services, this year's event attracted more than 600 participants who took on either the 5km or 10km obstacle course, tackling mud, water and a range of challenging obstacles along the way.

Our team spent the day at the Slip 'n' Slide armed with hoses, soap and plenty of enthusiasm, helping to keep the obstacle running smoothly, repositioning tyres and cheering competitors on as they powered through the course. It was a fantastic opportunity to support both the event and the many participants who took part for such an important cause.

A special congratulations goes to Ed Butler and Owen O'Neill (2026-27 Actuarial Placement Student), who successfully completed the demanding 10km course and represented Boal & Co with determination and spirit.

Once the final competitors had crossed the finish line, some members of the team couldn't resist trying out the Slip 'n' Slide for themselves!

We would like to congratulate Isle Listen on another hugely successful Tough Mucka event. The day not only raised valuable funds but also helped shine a spotlight on the charity's important work supporting mental health and wellbeing across the Isle of Man.

While we may have ended the day covered in mud, we were proud to play a small part in such a memorable community event and look forward to supporting many more initiatives that make a positive difference in our local community.
