Mia joined Boal & Co in 2006.

She has spent the previous 19 years working in the Isle of Man's thriving banking sector.

Mia’s extensive experience complements her varied role which involves providing services to both large domestic corporate clients and personal clients.

A key member of the domestic corporate team, she primarily works with complex defined benefit pension schemes, providing important secretarial and administration services. Mia works closely with scheme’s advisors and stakeholders, to ensure that legal and regulatory requirements of schemes are met.
Mia also specialises in small self-administered schemes (SSASs) and self-invested personal pensions (SIPPs), working closely with high net-worth clients and their advisers to understand specific requirements and building tailored pensions to meet their needs. 

Mia regularly liaises with regulators, income tax offices, information commissioners and other departments to ensure that schemes are managed professionally and efficiently.

In their spare time

Born on the island, Mia enjoys the outdoors and away from a busy work and home life can often be found walking with her dogs in the Manx countryside, or swimming across Port Erin bay.
