Karen Kelly ProfPMI

Karen joined Boal & Co in 2010, bringing extensive corporate pensions experience from her previous roles with a leading international bank.

Karen manages Boal & Co's corporate international pension customer portfolio, overseeing the trustee and administration services for a wide-ranging customer base including more than 45 Financial Times ‘Global 500’ employers, while fulfilling a key relationship manager role to many of Boal & Co's occupational customers and business partners.

As Group Director she is responsible for overseeing business and customer operations, implementing strategy, monitoring financial performance, and setting policies and processes as well as oversight of the Group marketing function.

With more than 25 years’ experience in managing retirement benefits schemes, Karen has played a pivotal role in Boal & Co’s growth and her expertise ensures customers, their schemes and members receive excellent governance, support and service.

Karen was appointed to the Board of Boal & Co (Pensions) Ltd in 2013, Boal & Co Pensions (Jersey) Limited in 2020, Boal & Co Limited in 2022 and Boal & Co Holdings Limited in July 2025. She held the position of General Manager from 2021 to 2024 before becoming Group Director in 2025.

In their spare time

Karen is a keen skier, enjoying regular ski holidays with her daughter, son and husband and keeping fit by attending the gym and running. Originally from Scotland, Karen moved to the Isle of Man in 1990.
