Jordan Hamer
Actuary
Jordan joined Boal & Co in 2020 as an actuarial graduate.
Jordan works with Boal’s pension trustees and administrators to ensure our pension schemes meet the needs of the trustees, employers and scheme members.
His remit includes calculating scheme funding requirements, managing risk and advising trustees, companies and members on options relating to individual pension benefits for more sophisticated situations.
Jordan has two years’ experience in pensions consulting. He previously worked for Boal & Co on a student placement during the summer of 2018.
Jordan has a degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics and is member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries UK.
In their spare time
Jordan enjoys playing guitar and football as well as taking part in walking events such as the Isle of Man’s Parish Walk which he completed in 2021.
