Daniel Hall MSc

Head of IT and Infrastructure

Daniel joined Boal & Co in 2002 and has been instrumental in implementing systems and technology to support the continued growth of business.

As Head of IT, Daniel manages the company's systems, technical development and programming. He works extensively on the ongoing development and support of the in-house pension administration software, LifeBase Offshore, disaster recovery, data protection and security. He also oversees the facilities management of the buildings and provides remote technical support for the Ireland and Gibraltar teams.

Daniel is the group’s Data Protection Officer and a part of the Isle of Man Government Data Protection Officers Forum. As part of his DPO function Daniel looks after Boal’s GDPR compliance.
With more than 30 years’ experience in IT, Daniel previously worked for an international life assurance company and a life and pensions software developer. He has experience in systems analysis, programming in many languages and website development. 

Daniel is a member of the Staff Wellbeing Committee, a qualified First Aider, Mental Health First Aider and Fire Marshal.

In their spare time

Daniel is a World Champion fishing fly dresser and international fly fishing competitor. He has previously competed for the Island at Commonwealth level. In recent years he has become reacquainted with the equestrian world, owning, training and photographing horses at home and at events.
