Boal & Co Announces Sponsorship of Marown Football Club’s Juniors

Boal & Co has announced its sponsorship of Marown Football Club’s Juniors Section.

The sponsorship has enabled the provision of full kit, including training tops, to more than 70 children who train and play for the club spanning all age groups from the under 8s to the under 16s.

This follows Boal & Co’s sponsorship of several Marown Juniors age groups for a number of years.

Boal & Co CEO, Mark Kiernan commented:

‘We are delighted to support Marown Juniors. Some of our team have children who play (or have played) for the club, so it was a pertinent opportunity for us to demonstrate our commitment to both the local community and our staff.

‘I am pleased to hear that our kit funding has enabled the club to invest additional funds into specialist training equipment that they may not have afforded otherwise, providing brilliant opportunities for the Island’s young footballers to develop their skills.

‘As a business we are keen supporters of local football and have also provided regular sponsorship to the Ravens, FCIOM.’

Marown Football Club Juniors Secretary Paul Howland added:

‘We are extremely grateful for our long-term partnership with Boal & Co. For the first time in our history all age groups have the same, brand new kit and we feel more together as a club than ever before.

‘The sponsorship has also assisted us to set up an under 8s group, which is circa 16 players every week – they are ultimately the future of our club (and potentially Manx football!) and they have been given the best possible start.’

Marown Football Club’s Juniors Section plans to donate its previous kit to KitAid which distributes old kits to the world’s poorest countries.
