Head of Actuatial Services
We are looking for a senior qualified actuary with more than 5 years' post qualified experience in life insurance and/or pensions to lead our busy actuarial team.
A unique opportunity to work for the leading pensions provider on the Isle of Man, this role involves taking responsibility for a wide range of tasks in a busy actuarial team as well as supporting the business to achieve its wider group strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities include:

Acting as the main point of contact and appointed actuary and/or scheme actuary (where appropriate) to our life and pensions clients

Overseeing the provision of actuarial support and calculations for the pensions administration and trustee teams, and to provide peer review of actuarial services

Valuation of liabilities of defined-benefit pension schemes

Risk-based capital reporting for life insurance companies

Performing complex calculations, building financial models and making suggestions for developing models and processes

Producing reports including investment reports to the investment committees and undertaking various relevant projects
