Paul joined Boal and Co in 2019 bringing comprehensive international pension, compensation and benefits experience to the team.

As a Director of Boal & Co Pensions Ltd (IOM & Jersey), Paul is responsible for corporate client management and proposition development as well as contributing to the overall business leadership.

Paul has extensive knowledge of the pensions market and his specialisms lie in international employee benefits (including end of service schemes), pension trusteeship and Isle of Man pension schemes. 

Paul has more than 25 years' experience working in the international financial services industry. His early career focused on international human resources management. In 2009 he moved into international corporate client and distribution management for a global insurer. 

He has travelled extensively to meet business and client needs with a focus on the Far and Middle East, North America and Continental Europe undertaking two longer term postings in Dubai. Paul also served for three years as a member appointed trustee of a significant UK staff defined benefit pension scheme with assets in excess of £6bn. 

Paul is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

In their spare time

Paul enjoys keeping fit and healthy and is a keen cyclist, an enthusiastic (but poor) golfer and all-round lover of the outdoors. He enjoys travelling and spending quality time with family and friends, an avid movie buff Paul can quote from many films and has a vault of useless but occasionally interesting facts to call upon whenever the opportunity arises.
